Prezi
Infrastructure Developer
January - July 2013 (7 months)
I worked for Prezi’s Infrastructure team in Budapest for 7 months in 2013. I joined during their transition from a single monolithic Python application to a service oriented architecture. A few projects I led:
Refactor of “storageproxy”—a massive legacy component that perisists prezis in Amazon S3—out of the Python monolith and into a standalone service.
Release of snakebasket, a recursive Python depedency installer and Prezi’s first open source project.
Introduction of SauceLabs cross-browser acceptance testing to Prezi’s CI pipeline.
I left Prezi with a heavy heart to finish university back in the US. They were an incredible company to grow with, and I hold great gratitude for our time together.
